Data Engineering (DE) is seeking a seasoned Microsoft Technology Solution Architect with expertise in MS Dynamics ERP-EAM and MS Azure Cloud to join our team.

Role Overview:
This role requires a senior architect with a strong background in architectural principles, practices, and methodologies related to ERP & EAM implementations, particularly in the Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 environment. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge across all MS Dynamics D365 HR & Finance modules, coupled with extensive experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud Adoption Framework and Azure architecture.
This position will be located in Sydney and is for a senior solution architect, initially on a 3-6 month contract with the potential for extension to a long-term project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural design and implementation oversight of MS Dynamics ERP-EAM solutions.
- End-to-end (E2E) implementation management, ensuring alignment with project objectives and requirements.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 ERP value chain and its integration with related systems.
- Expertise across all MS Dynamics D365 HR & Finance modules, with the ability to provide strategic guidance on module selection and configuration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Cloud Adoption Framework, including Azure architecture and current state assessments.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Storage, Site Recovery, Backup, and other Azure services.
- Knowledge of cloud governance, risks, compliance, and security best practices.
- Utilization of Azure DevOps for project management and collaboration.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 components, such as Exchange Online.
- Proficient in Microsoft SQL and Azure SQL for database management and optimization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a solution architect, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics ERP-EAM and Azure Cloud solutions.
- Strong understanding of ERP & EAM implementation principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 ERP value chain and module integration.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure architecture, and related services.
- Proficiency in Azure Storage, Site Recovery, Backup, cloud governance, risks, compliance, and security.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Microsoft 365 components.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
